Project Idea Competition (March 25 - April 27)





In this competition, you will be generating an idea of a project that can use machine learning to benefit society. You will also be giving a no more than three-minute presentation of your idea on Friday, April 29th during connectivity OR submit a video presentation by Wednesday, April 27th at 11:59 pm through the submission form.

Submission Requirements





  • Create a brief, 4 slide presentation to pitch your idea, submit by April 27th
  • Include the motivation/problem you are solving, description of idea, and evaluation of idea
  • Give an up to 3 minute presentation on your idea
  • Live presentation on April 8th during connectivity or submit a pre-recorded video with the presentation slides by April 6th.

Winner Selection Criteria
On April 8th everyone will each allocate $10,000 of imaginary capital to different project proposals. The groups with the most invested capital will earn 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. There will also be two honorable mentions.
